END OF THE SEASON
As Club Captain I would like to congratulate everyone on what I think was a sucsessful season for the club. Well done to Alan Pickett who kept his young 4th XI up in a tough league and also bringing on the brilliant talents of Daniel Parkinson, Kasey Harris and Darren Ironside amongst several others. Also a great season for our 3rd XI who had a very good solid season finishing up mid-table and blooding a handful of cricketers who im sure will be pushing for the 1's in a few years to come so well done Tim. Rex Costigan did a great Job keeping the 2's up with small numbers to pick from and did a fantastic job getting a good team out every week and I think with the emerging young players we have and a strong under 15's the 2's could be the team to watch next season. Also a well done to Sunday Captains Ashley Leat and Greg Bonser as our A's won 11 out of 13 and the B's won 5 out of 10. A special thanks as well to all our supporters who have followed us around all season and given us great support from the side so thanks to the SWAG's.Our 1st XI had a fantastic season and as Captain would like to thank everybody who played a part in what was a great season for us.We just missed out on promotion and finished 3rd after an amazing 11 game unbeaten run and I am proud of everyone who contributed and helped our club have a great season and we all believe that next year is our year to bring a trophy to the stow. A Special thanks goes to our overseas Player Sam Hagdorn who has been fantastic on and off the pitch all season and will be missed at the club.We all wish him the best of luck back in Perth and we'll all hope to see him back down the Pot with us all in a few years.
Thanks
Greg Harris
Club Captain
