Major Ground Work

New Outdoor Nets

The cricket committee are delighted to announce that work will commence in the next few months on improvements to the clubs practice facilities.

We have been awarded significant grants and by topping this up using money collected through fundraising, membership etc, we are now able to build two brand new fully enclosed artificial nets. These will be built from scratch on the land to the left of the existing nets and will be fully enclosed including adequate run up space, a lockable fence to prevent misuse and damage and will have an electricity supply to enable bowling machine use.
This is another achievement by the club in the last year or so to improve the standard of cricket and facilities available for all our members.
A huge thanks must be given to everyone involved for their tireless efforts in getting the grants and to the generosity to London Marathon Fund and Grange Park Trust for their funding.

Stow Mid-Winter Party

Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a successful night. It was good to see friends and past players of the club coming back to support us as well as players from all XIs and colts parents and members of the other 2 sections. Thanks must also go to Ansar, Paul, Del, Janice for providing the food, which went down a treat, especially with guest MP Stella Creasy.
