NEWS LAST UPDATED 15/04/09: Summer Training Details, New Kit and Fantasy Cricket
New members and players of all ages and standards are always welcome.
Walthamstow CC is a friendly East London Club; we run 4 Saturday sides that play in the Essex Shepherd Neame League as well as two friendly sides on a Sunday. We also have a thriving colts section for Under 11’s, 13’s & 15’s.If you are interested in joining please Contact MATTHEW GUEST using the Contact page above. We will be doing 3 Ashes Competitons this summer
- Leading Run Scorer (Top 5 Batsman for each team) - £10
- Leading Wicket Taker (Top 5 Bowlers for each team) - £10
- Runs scored in whole series (Both teams combined) - £2
Half the money from each sweepstake will go to the winner and half will go to the cricket section. Please have a go an help support the club plus a chance to win some serious o'niells beer vouchers.

ONE-TO-ONE COACHING
Walthamstow Cricket Club's Overseas player for 2009 Nathan McNally is running one-to-one caoching sessions at the club.
Nathan is from Christchurch in New Zealand and has had good experience of playing high level grade cricket and was selected for the New Zealand Under 19's world cup squad.
Prices are about £20 an hour but are all negotiable and he welcomes young and old players of all ages and abilities.

IMPORTANT
Membership forms for 2009 are now available to download.
Existing members remember that membership is due in by June (the final payment).
Membership forms need to be completed in full ASAP by 25th April at the very latest so you can be registered with the league and therefore ok to play league cricket.
I cant stress enough how important this is.

WALTHAMSTOW CRICKET CLUB
TOUR TO AMSTERDAM
Walthamstow Cricket Club will be going off on its 2nd European tour to Amsterdam on Sunday August 2nd to Friday August 7th 2009.
We will be playing VRA Cricket Club on the Monday and ACC Amsterdam Cricket Club on the Thursday which will give us plenty of time to see what Amsterdam has to offer.
